Type Rating A330

With this course pilots gain the type rating for the middle- and long-range aircraft Airbus A330. During the five weeks of Type Rating A330 training, experienced pilots gain knowledge about technical characteristics of the airplane by means of CBT & MFTD. The practical training in the simulator is completed by a skill test.

Entry requirements

  • valid CPL with ATPL frozen
  • valid ME IR or Type rating
  • valid Medical Class I
  • fluent English

  • Ground school (CBT) 15 days; instructor led from the first day on
  • Performance / FMGS / ECAM Training
  • A330 MFTD sessions
  • A330 Full Flight Simulator Training
  • Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT)
  • Skill Test
  • Complete set of manuals & study materials

Duration

The duration of your type rating course is approximately 5 weeks including your off days.
