EASA ATPL Integrated course
Prerequisites:
In order to start the course, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Be a High School Certificate holder.
- Undertake the Egnatia Aviation Selection Process (math, physics and aptitude tests).
- Be 17 years old and above.
- Able to pass the EASA Class I Medical.
You are advised to reach the College, in order to undertake the Medical Class 1, as well as the pilot aptitude tests. You need to spend 1 day in Athens or Thessaloniki for the medical and 2 days in Kavala so as to undertake the selection process.
Since you are an EU passport holder, you may enroll at any announced class.
The EASA ATPL Integrated course is called IKAROS-I. The program includes all the flight, the theoretical training and the examinations one needs for the commercial pilot’s license with Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Rating.
The course consists of:
- 119.3 hours on a Single Engine Aircraft - Diamond DV20 and DA40 (87.8+31.5)
- 68.5 hours on a FNPT II Simulator
- 28.5 hours on a Diamond DA42 Twin Engine Aircraft
- MCC/JOC (32 hours advanced training in the Simulator)
- Total number of training hours: 248.3
- Up to 3 hours DA42 Aircraft Use for the Skill Test
- Full Time ATPL Theory (classroom teaching, 828 hours)
- All the necessary training materials including IPad, maps, charts, headset etc.
- All landing and approach fees
- All Authority fees (HCAA) & exams fees
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Test
- All Examiners, Examination and licensing fees
- All applicable Taxes
The course has a recommended duration of 17 months. The age limit for the IKAROS-I course is to be 17 years old. Our fleet is one of the most modern Diamond fleet in Europe consisting of 8 DV-20s, 6 DA-40s, 2 DA-42s and 1 Aero AT-3. There are 5 more brand new planes on order to be added to the existing ones. Of course it is to be mentioned our state of art ALSIM FNPTII Simulator and the 3 brand new ALSIM AL250 Simulators, while there is an order for 3 more ALSIM Simulators, including two airliners. Our oldest aircraft is 8 years old .
At the end of the first part of your Advanced Airline Training Program you will graduate with the EASA (European) CPL/ME/IR license with ATPL theoretical credit (called as frozen ATPL).

Type Rating on A320, B737 or CL65
The Type Rating Course is aimed at pilots who wish to become type rated on A320, B737 300-900 or CL 65. It is conducted according to EASA Part-FCL regulations. Standard class capacity of 2 flight crew members.
During the training we impart knowledge of systems by means of Computer Based Training and Flight Training Devices and with the support of our trainers. You gain practical experience in the full flight simulator. After successfully completing the exams and the base training, the licence registration is carried out by the aeronautical authority.
